History
Rice Design was incorporated in 2003. With over two decades of experience in e-commerce, biotechnology, ethanol, and high security advertising, Bill’s diverse background on the agency and client side gives him a unique marketing perspective. During his time as Marketing Manager with North American Bioproducts, he learned the value of relationship marketing and how to rapidly grow sales in small to mid-size businesses.
From startups to growth companies, RiceDesign can help you build a brand identity, establish an online presence and implement strategies for social media.
In 2011 Bill decided to build on the momentum his freelance business was gaining. He left his current employer where he had a dual role as Social Media Manager/Interactive Art Director. Clients served were University of Kentucky, Urban Active Fitness, Thomas & King (Applebee’s and Carino’s franchise group), Keeneland, Buffalo Trace Distillery and regional clients.
Bill is a Christian, father and creative. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his kids, traveling, fishing, riding dirt bikes, shooting USPSA matches and DIY projects. Currently, he serves on the board for the Children’s Charity Golf Classic, and previously on the Communications Team for the Scott County Hospitality House. His previous leadership skills include serving as Administrative and Chair of Trustees committees at his Church and President of a recreational Ice Hockey league. (Yes, he still has all his teeth.)
